Interstate 66

Interstate 66 is a new east-west highway that would travel from Virgina to California with Kentucky directly in its path. As with I-69, I-66 would use much of the existing parkways in Kentucky. I-66 will travel north from Bowling Green to Ohio County on the Natcher Parkway and then go west on the Western Kentucky Parkway.

This effectively brings I-66 within approximately 25 miles of Owensboro.
